My Second Experience with Rovia Price Pledge!

After buying cheap tickets, now I booked 2 Tune Hotel rooms for them to stay overnight in LCCT before catching the next day early flight back to Kuching.

Again, since I have my very own personal travel website, I logged in into my website and used the search engine function. The price I found for 2 rooms at Tune Hotel KLIA-LCCT Sepang was $ 116.40. (I was praying that I could find cheaper price elsewhere :P). Then I checked in the most commonly used hotel booking website; Agoda (www.agoda.com), the total price for the same booking costs almost the same RM 360 (approx~ $ 114.72). Then I checked again in tunehotels website (www.tunehotels.com), the total price for the same booking costs only RM 206.48 (approx~ $ 65.8). Yea, EXCITED mode again!

I booked and paid with my Rovia bucks (from my first PP claim). Then I print screen the booking details and tunehotels website price and started to fill up the Rovia Price Pledge claim form. Submitted all the necessary info to them and within 5 business days, they approved and granted my refund; 150% from the price difference! I have got a refund of $ 75.98 into my rovia account :)

Let me show to you the calculation;

My travel website price: $ 116.40
Tunehotels website (cheapest I can find): RM 206.48 (approx~ $ 65.80)
Price difference: $ 50.60

My 150% difference refund: 150% * $ 50.60 = $ 75.90

My hotel price will be $ 116.40 - $ 75.90 = $ 40.50 for 2 rooms! (tell me if you can book at this price elsewhere :))

A total of $ 25.30 savings in US dollar kay!  Yippieee! Amazing right? Contact me jess_sll@yahoo.com or +60192116800 for more details.

Stupid gal...not everyone is like you so free to check every time you booked hotel or flight. what rovia do is to give u the impression that they are offering cheaper package. the refund is true because they want YOU to BELIEVE that they will do whatever they can to lower the price. But in fact, based on what I have seen, the prices are on average higher and most people that believe their scheme did not go to other websites to check, hence, they just use the profits made from other ppl to subsidise you. you think the company is so stupid to pay you 150% difference?
